The countdown has begun!

Friday:

After a brief rehearsal, we are going to be heading out to dinner. If you would like to catch up with us, we will be going out for drinks afterward at Angel City Brewery, 216 S Alameda St. We hope to be there about 9:30 PM.

Saturday:

Our ceremony will be held at 5PM at Grace Simons Lodge, located in Elysian Park: 1025 Elysian Park Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90012. (Here is a map, and directions are below)

The reception will follow immediately at the lodge.

We will have a shuttle leaving the downtown Double Tree Hotel (120 S Los Angeles St) at 4PM and 4:30PM to transport guests to the event, and also leaving on the hour from 9PM to Midnight to take guests back to the hotel.

Parking at the hotel is expensive! Consider using nearby parking garages or street parking. The hotel is three blocks west of the Little Tokyo Gold Line station.

There is also ample parking in a lot just outside the event venue gates, if you wish to drive yourself. See directions below.

We are planning to have a short after party and will let you know where! Our original site closes too early for us to enjoy it so we will make some new plans.

Other things to know:

Los Angeles has hot days and cool nights. It will probably be very warm during the day on Saturday, but you may want to bring a light sweater for the evening.

Directions:

Grace Simons Lodge is located not far from the Stadium Way exit on the 5.

From the West: Take the 10 East toward downtown. Merge to the left onto the 110 N toward Pasadena. Keep left through downtown. Exit at Dodger Stadium/Stadium Way. Take a left at Stadium Way, and then a right in half mile at the stop sign to stay on Stadium Way. Follow Stadium Way for 1.5 miles, and take a right on Academy and then a left to join Stadium. In a half mile, take a left on to Elysian Park drive. The lodge will be ahead on the right.

From the North: Take the 5 south to the Stadium Way exit. Take a left onto Stadium way, and follow for about half a mile. Turn right on Elysian Park Drive, and the Lodge will be ahead on your right.

From the South and East: Take the 10 W toward Los Angeles. Follow signs for 101/Los Angeles, and take the exit for the 5 N. In 3 miles, take the exit for Stadium Way. Turn left on Riverside Drive, and in 1 mile take a left to turn on to Stadium Way. Follow for about a mile, and turn right on Elysian Park Dr. The Lodge is ahead to the right.
